A VERY belated prize for @fluffingtonfern that was supposed to be delivered last year. I’m a bit rusty now but it was fun practice! Fluffy came up with this au and the designs are all his.

One little question for you, hope it's not a bother--

Do Disconauts and Psychonauts take place in the same general universe? Like, do the Psychonauts exist there? Do the RCM ever call up the Psychonauts for help or vice versa? I'd assume they don't acknowledge each other (both being in different parts of the world and such) but imagine Harry having to get at least a little training by actual experts.

Never a bother, and took me way too long to answer! (I also got your other ask which I’m working on)

I think Disconauts is in its own universe to keep the other aspects of the world the same (Revachol, the pale, etc) rather than trying to fit Psychoanuts to that or vice versa. So they would have their own experts but it’d be more underground.

However, the idea of some poor collection of agents trying to train Harry ‘Fuckatoo’ Du Bois is very funny. The fact that he can summon so many different archetypes all at once would be enough to get him in the history books.

Been drawing some weird beasts over on Patreon this year to actually set up some art there. I’m hoping to start making more things there as well as I eventually figure out an art-making method that works long-term! Here’s some beasts from January and February that are publicly available for now though.

I’ve been on a bit of a break from art for the past few months (mostly writing things for the book, learning how to code my own website, and code a game) but happy to announce I actually have things to show now! These are a bunch of sketches I did while trying to figure out how to do everyone’s turnaround for the book.

A portrait commission for @/voxybot on Twitter of his OC, Dr Cogwright! It was a fun commission to work on, the texture of the metal came out surprisingly well!

Doing portraits for all the people helping proofread my book at the moment so here’s the one I painted for @brainrotdotorg! They’re all getting shown off right at the front but much smaller than this, so it’s nice to show it a little bigger here. The EC design is Alex’s!

finally getting into Disco Elysium and one of my very first thoughts was to go find your Disconauts au since I can now understand what on earth these dudes are. I'm so hyper just to look at the art. Also, Tequilla Sunset is genuinely such a cool design overall.

Good to see you, hope you’re having a good time with the game so far! I’m glad you like the design and art as well! Still really happy with how that idea turned out for Tequila

The first image shows two Inland Empire designs together. There are sketches of the smaller Inland Empire sitting on the other's shoulder while they talk, the two of them stargazing, and one where Logic is asking where the smaller Inland Empire is.

The second image shows two Empathy designs together. There is a sketch of them wrapped together in an embrace and a comic explaining how their sensitivity works. In the comic they're wrapped together and feeling fear from Half Light before Electrochemistry interrupts and makes them consider other feelings.

The third image shows two Physical Instruments together. There are sketches of them copying the 'I found you, faker!' Sonic meme, having a staring contest, and asking another skill who's hotter.

@brainrotdotorg posted her new designs so here’s some silly sketches with different beasties hanging out. For the extra characters: The Logic is mine, the EC and Half Light are Alex’s, and both Volitions make an appearance.
